Things to know

A celebrant is a non-religious ceremony leader. We offer with naturally affordable services a natural funerals staff  celebrant who will hold the service together allowing family and friends to read their own eulogies.

If you have a church you regularly go to, it will be natural for you to approach them directly or we can on your behalf.  Any fees being charged will be additional to above prices.

We currently offer this particular service in the Mawson Chapel and Centennial Park, the Distinctive Chapel at West Hindmarsh or either chapel at Enfield Memorial Park.

Carrying the coffin

With cremation the coffin is always in place before you arrive.

Music and words

Whether you’re a fan of classical, rock, poetry or Shakespeare, we are here to guide you in choosing appropriate music and words.

A eulogy can be read by family members, friends or by our funeral director celebrant on behalf.  We will work with you in this process

The committal

The ‘committal’ is the moment when we say goodbye to the person who has died.  This can be a religious or civil occasion. If you’re at the crematorium, a coffin may be lowered at the end of the ceremony. For many families, this is an important moment of ‘closure’. But remember this doesn’t have to happen. Generally we leave the coffin where it is and not lower.

Flowers or Donations

Family and friends can bring their own flowers or simply pick a single flower from their gardens.  We can also request in the funeral notice "no flowers" but a donation to your preferred charity in lieu.

Our packages

Designed to relieve the burden of big funeral bills.  Each set package is carefully designed.  Any services not included in our set packages will be at additional fee.
